Great Update - Lag Spikes Fixed
Knock, Knock » Devlog
This update mainly focuses on improving performance. A number of you mentioned random lag spikes during gameplay, and after some testing, I was able to track down the cause and fix it. The game should now run more smoothly overall. I had tried to fix this before release but couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Today, after three months, I reopened the project and finally caught what was wrong.
Changes in this update:
- Fixed: Lag spikes that occurred in certain areas.
- Optimized: Minor performance improvements in a few scenes.
- Small tweaks:
- Updated one dialogue line.
- Increased the clock’s sound range slightly
- Added a Readme.txt that explains how to get all seven endings.
Thanks to everyone who’s been sending feedback, it’s been a huge help in improving the game.
Next update (planned)
If the game really takes off and lots of players start playing, I’ll add a branding kit with some images you can use for your own thumbnails.
